Smart Routing

To configure payment orchestration routes, go to the “Smart Routing” section from the left menu. In this section, you will see the payment methods you have configured by provider. If you have added a payment provider with cards, the first time you will find the “Cards” payment method in the “Not configured” tab.

Create strategies

Click on the payment method to create strategies with their orchestration rules. To create a new strategy, click the “Create new strategy” button.

Enter the name of your strategy to continue with the orchestration route configuration.

Configure orchestration routes

Once the strategy is created, you will see the orchestration route designer, which always has a default route. You can add more routes based on certain rules if needed.

Routes support several rules or conditions divided into categories:

• Order

• Card

• Device

• Health Metrics

• Processing Metrics

Each of these has various fields to condition your orchestration routes.

Once the orchestration rule is defined, you must specify who will process the transaction that matches the defined criteria. The options are:

• Anti-fraud

• Specific 3DS

• 3DS Server

• Payment Processor

Finally, click the “Save” button and then the “Publish” button to start using it.

Strategies and Orchestration Routes

You can create new strategies as needed, and each can have multiple versions of orchestration routes.
